Board Members are selected from a wide spectrum of community interests which include family businesses and service agency professionals. It is important for us to have the benefit of a wide variety of opinions and expertise regarding the many and varied issues and decisions that must be discussed.
Responsibilities of the board include:
- Participation in an orientation to the corporation (new board members)
- Attendance at monthly board meetings
- Participation on one of the Board Committees:
- Long Range Planning
- Human Rights
- Participation in fundraising activities.
- Participation in discussion of finances, programming, etc.
- Approval of annual budget.
- Assistance in evaluating the type and quality of services being provided to the individuals we serve.
- Awareness of potential issues and trends in rehabilitation.
